Wednesday 5th September

Not bad weather today, although its making it a little tough for the anglers, rather warm and sunny currently, with the occasional fish showing near the surface. Although anglers today have caught trout to various patterns, both dries and lures etc.

Top rod currently, Oliver Avis with 6 trout, some of nice sizes. Around 3 1/2 - 4lb bows. Caught to cats whiskers fished around 5-6ft down.

Alot of fly life about due to the damp conditions over night and warm mild midday temperatures.
Plenty of Daddies dancing across the water, and the occasional trout seen taking advantage of this easy meal.

A classic evening rise currently taking place 5:10pm!! heres a photo of a evening capture by Member Paul Knight taken to a black zonker "snake".

A Beautiful fully finned resident 3 1/2lb bow.

Tightlines,
Nathan
