Monday 17th September

This week is off to a excellent start! with plenty of fish coming out and the rod average currently at 4.2.
Some nice sized fish coming out to daddies, still out fishing various other patterns at the minute.

Weather wise, this morning was looking promising, clear skies with the occasional cloud cover, plenty of fish moving near the surface. A very slight wind currently around 5-6mph westerly. However this has changed towards early evening, with the wind staying remotely similar, but the weather has taken a rather damp turn!
Virtually constant light showers currently [3:40pm] with the odd break for 10minutes or so. Still plenty of anglers out on the water battling with the rain.

Wet and windy weather may not be ideal for the angler, but it certainly is what the trout at Curley's prefer!
The majority of fish recorded caught since the start of the season, have been caught on cloudy, raining dull days! Trout don't like bright conditions!
The recent stocked fish have started to settle, they are now having a go at any lure dragged past their line of vision, purely out of aggression and curiosity.

Members evening fast approaching with only a few days to go! (see image above for details).

2013 Members apply soon!

A couple of members have already done so and i would be very grateful to any day ticket angler that wishes to share their experiences with others.
