A cold start to the morning, 7:00am, but what a beautiful morning it is!
Clear skies, little or nil wind, and fish rising across the lake to welcome me to the lakeside.
A stunning view across the lake, a slight easterly present, visible in the photo.
Top patterns for yesterday, without a doubt klinkhamers came out on top. Especially during late evening, with fish rising all over the lake it was excellent sport casting to rising fish.
Top rod - Member Phil Rees, with 4 trout within a couple of hours, all to klinkhamers.
With plenty of fish stocked over this last month, the catch returns are excellent, with 92% of anglers catching 4+ fish in a 2-3hour session.
Overall, its looking excellent today, although a little cool to start, the sun will soon make an appearance and start to warm the water.
Tightlines,
Nathan
