Monday 10th September

Fly Tying Evening class

Curley's Season Members apply soon!

Not bad conditions here currently, over cast, still very mild. Virtually no wind, a slight westerly.

A lot of fish showing currently, with plenty of daddies flying about, more so coming off the tall grass on the dam wall. Dapping a daddy along the dam wall will bring a few fish today, trout cant resist a well presented daddy this month!

Autumn is rapidly approaching, as we get closer to mid september the trees have started to shed their leaves. Heres a quick photo. The colours around the lake with the fading leaves makes for a beautiful view.

With a busy weekend, its quite today, so the anglers currently fishing have free roam of the bank. Which is ideal, keeping on the move when the fishing challenging is the best way to improve your catch rate.
Keep moving, vary the depth.
Natural patterns have caught more fish over the last few days than lures, nymphs & buzzers storming ahead.
Black/olive size 14's buzzers doing well, dwial bachs & crunchers catching also.

Today's Video Upload.
Showing the complete flat calm! an unusual sight at Curleys.
Note: the video will take a while to stabilise.

Tightlines,
