Tuesday 3rd July

Members evening session Commences 4th July      Click here for further information

The weathers holding off so far, near perfect conditions today. Slight easterly wind creating a nice ripple across most of the lake. Although the top half of the trout lake is sheltered.

A few anglers fishing Curleys bright and early this morning, beating the rain that is supposed to hit Curleys around 3pm.

The fish that have been coming out lately have been the bigger ones from the previous stocking, and natural patterns are leading the way. Black & olive epoxy buzzers doing very well, either fished under a indicator or without.

A close up shot of Member Gary Stanley, fishing the washing line technique.
Small Black Expoxy buzzer with a dry on the point to keep the buzzer close to the surface.

Lots of fish showing just under the surface, more so in the flat calm water towards pontoon 2.

Few fishing caught yesterday considering the difficult conditions. The water has now started to clear up after the heavy rain weve had, so its looking good for today, the water temperature is sitting at 15degrees around 5ft down, so in theory the fish will be within this five foot.

 Tightlines,
Nathan
