Wednesday 23rd May

Very warm here at curleys, the water temperature has increased slightly, bringing alot of hatches on within the last few hours.
The catch rate has started to increase as the fish acclimatise to the changeable weather.

Killing patterns = Diwal Bach, Olive buzzer and Olive Goldhead Nomad.

Later on in the day, fish have been rising to dry flies towards pontoon 2 (towards the cafe).
A refreshing cold breeze from the west is currently present, although it does die off, leaving the lake a virtually flat calm at times.

Make sure to bring plenty of sun cream!, and of course a decent pair of polarised Sunglasses.

An unusual catch to a goldhead hares ear (pictured below).
Caughted by a very suprised Member Gary Stanley.
