Today is a bit blustery with the wind coming over in gusts from the West. Hopefully things will improve over the weekend.
Still some Hawthorn flies about - this normally only lasts about 2 weeks and they have been about for at least a week now so not much longer to go. Normally in July we get the Heather Flies about, these look very much like the Hawthorn fly but have red legs and can trigger a good feeding frenzy if they get blown onto the lake.
