So here goes!
The lake is in prime condition today, clear water after a heavy down pour.
Small roach and a few perch can be seen very close to the surface.
This small lake is ideal for abit of sport, for adults and kids alike. The Common carp that has made the small lake its home has put on weight over the last 6 months, and its growing fast in size! I would put it around 5lb now which will test a light coarse fishing outfit.
Not many anglers know much about this lake, so in a nutt shell, its full of roach of decent sizes, its rarely fished so any coarse anglers in the area that take advantage of this will be heavily rewarded.
(you will honestly be suprised at the size and quality of these roach)
The same rules apply to the small lake as the trout lake barbless only!
Additional rules that apply to the small coarse pond only:
- Any Method, fly, coarse etc
- No ground baiting.
- Bait allowed - maggots, bread, sweetcorn and worms etc

Tightlines!
