Saturday morning

The weather is much better than forecast, a slight north-easterly breeze, with the sun out it will soon warm up. Cold start to the morning but the fish are still showing across the lake, a few midges coming off the water, as the weather warms up a little im sure we will see more hatches as the day progresses.

Few anglers out on the water already, all fishing various methods, sinking line teamed with lures, and floating line with suspender buzzers, a few fish hooked but nothing landed as of yet (8:30am).

Search the depths first thing, the cold wind may put them that little bit deeper, but they will still be looking up for their food i would imagine, as alot of terrestrials have been landing over the surface on the warmer days.

UPDATE:
Mr Pat Brown has had two fish upto now on a slow sinking line, fishing a single fly, a black & green fritz.
Few anglers catching now and the fish seem to be waking up as the temperature warms.

Tightlines,
Nath
