Junes finished and July was off to a flying start, unfortuneatly the weather wasnt, Mr Finney managed a beautiful trout of around 5lb caught to a Black Dancer.
The wind was strong and teamed with the occasional heavy shower, there was only 7 anglers out on the water. Those that braved the condititions were rewarded.
Pattern of the day! Black Dancer, securing a lovely fully finned 5lber.
The forecast over the week is looking brighter, the wind is forecast to die completely down, with only a light breeze throughout tuesday and wednesday.
Its looking excellent for the Members Evening session, with a stocking prior to this event. There will be plenty of trout coming out.
Monday 2nd July
The weathers not brilliant this morning, quite a few members out on the water currently.
Water proofs and warm clothing are a must!
Virtually no wind however, a slight SE breeze currently [11am]
Alot of trout showing near the surface, and the majority of the fish caught over the last few days have been within the top 6ft of water.
A view from the 2nd pontoon over looking the main basin.
Tight Lines,
Nathan
