Monday 25th July

Not bad conditions this morning, occasional light rain showers, but nothing heavy.
Slight easterly wind, blowing towards the damn wall no more than 10mph currently.
Good news the water clarity has started to return after the incredibly heavy showers we had last week!

Quite a few anglers out on the water at the minute, all doing different methods. Most of them fishing deep to get below the slightly clouded upper layers.

More footage recording will take place this week and another video to accompany the friday/saturday blog.

One of two for Member Jim McGinley caught to a fire/orange dancer.

UPDATE:
The water clarity has really started to return now, and it shows, with alot more fish being caught.
The trout have come up nearer to the surface now, as the water clears and the weather cools a little.
Plenty of midges and the occasional mayfly about, although not in great numbers

Tight Lines,
Nathan
