Fish coming out to red ribbed dwial bachs, every 20-30minutes or so, the fish suddenly switch on to small midge hatches, alot of surface activity!
Klinkhammers without doubt will catch a few fish today, ideal, as the majority of the fly sits just sub-surface (within the surface film), therefore the fish take it alot more confidently than a surface fly.
UPDATE
Mr Phil Reece had 5 fish over all, to a mixture of buzzers and dwial bachs. Fish no more than a couple of foot down, most of his fish took as soon as the flies touched the water. Good angling!
All anglers caught, to a array of different methods, however the method that stood out the most was fishing with a team of buzzers/nymphs. Floating line, long leader.
Tightlines,
