Mondays update

Zonkers catching the fish today, white and natural zonkers being the key patterns.
Intermediate/slow sinking fly line followed by a single zonker pattern.

Mr A Robinson landed 6 fish all to zonkers, fished on a sinking, all of his fish were taken about 4 foot down. Slow but steady retrieve.

Mr Fielding had 3 fish overall, to a similar technique.

Member John Donohue managed 3 fish again to zonkers, white and natural in colour.
He stated he had more bites than fish landed. Maybe it may be worth trimming a few zonkers back to make them that little bit shorter (if they seem to be plucking at the fly) to expose the hook that little bit more, making for more solid hook ups.

Weathers not been to bad wind is westerly, towards Bullrush bank. (towards the cafe, see new water map in tackle shop). A cold wind will put the fish down that little bit more, especially with the warm weather suddenly changing to much colder more spring like conditions.

Tightlines,
Nath
