The forecast isnt too good for today, but its a absolute flat clam at curleys this morning.
Next to no wind ( a very slight westerly), fish are rising all over the lake but mainly towards the boat pontoon.
Again suprisingly mild, with the damp conditions over night im sure a few hatches will be in process already.
I will keep anglers update as the day goes on.
No rain as of yet!
Update:
Without a doubt the fish are feeding just subsurface, on small black pupae.
The empty shells of which are littering the shoreline towards the cafe, when you pop down to curleys today, take a look around the pontoon (pictured above), its totally surrounded with empty buzzer shells floating on the surface!
The winds picked up abit, 10mph westerly gusts. Weathers holding off, no rain, with the sun making the odd appearence throughout the last hour.
Tightlines,
Nathan
