Fool's day it maybe but the fish don't know that - rises all over the lake this morning with a massive buzzer hatch. Yesterday Nathan reported a sighting of Hawthorn flies - I need to do some more entomology training with him - they were very large Gnats and I would guess this is what the fish are feeding on now.
So size 10 buzzers probably black, should do the trick. Fish with a greased up line, or washing line or under an indicator, Kiwi Dropper or bung fly, your choice?
