Easterly wind but quiet sheltered at the bottom end nearer the cafe - lots of fish caught yesterday and today, mostly to dries or blobs/egg flys and buzzers suspended 2 1/2 ft down under an indicator.
Rod average today (up to 1pm today) - 4 fish - prospects looking good for the weekend!
Just a reminder that the course fishing exercise is taking place Friday and Saturday but this will be restricted to certain areas around the lake leaving plenty of space for normal flyfishing activity.
If anyone fancies having a go at the course fishing all the equipment can be hired for just £5 - all you need do is bring your own maggots!
