Friday 30th

Well that's summer over with - back to normal spring like conditions. Might be better fishing prospects with less bright sunlight but as with all things the fish will have to adjust to these new conditions.
Overall looking good for today and the weekend. Quite a bit cooler than of late, bring your fleeces!!!

  1. Looked at the video from the opening day and congrats to all involved. I had hoped to visit this week but with a hundred mile round trip and present fuel situation it will have to be the fly bench for now and look forward to present situation getting back to normal. Will the boat fishing with the expected new boats remain from the fixed buoys?

  2. Hope to see you soon - the fuel crisis can't last forever can it!!!!

  3. TO answer your question about the boats, I think it will always be the case that boating on Curley's will be anchored to fixed points - It's just not big enough for loch style.
    You could try float tubing???

    1. I'll hopefully visit on Tuesday, if you're not there could details concerning float tubing be left for me. Do you provide tubes and the chest waders? How much for a lesson? Are neoprene chest waders needed or the other type such as Delta breathable type. Are stockingfoot or the bootfoot the best for tubing?
      Thanks for your comments.

    2. HI Mike
You have asked quite a few questions, it would probably be better if you just gave me a ring so that we can talk about tubing.
Unfortunately I won't be at the fishery on Tuesday, I am on a fishing trip myself.
