Beautiful day!

The weather is stunning, clear skies and its nice and mild too.
Although not ideal for the trout, in theory, however there is still fish topping all over the lake, especially along the ripples edge. Which is where hatching insects get trapped, as the flat calm water meets the slighty rougher. Hence why you see alot of fish cruising along the ripple.

No fish caught as of yet but its still early, 8:45am. Few anglers out on the lake, all on various methods. But on a day like this i couldnt recommend more, a team of buzzers. If possible you want your flies to land on the ripples edge (the fish feeding zone).

Try different depths today, with the sun being out, i would recommend (if the fish are feeding) roughly 5-6ft down when the sun is directly penetrating the surface.

Tightlines to all,
I Will get plenty of photos up today! watch this space.
