Today's First photo!

Click here for todays earlier blog

Although i strive to get as many photos of trout caught as possible it can sometimes be difficult, with anglers on catch and release tickets. Only trout killed will have their photo taken, as this minimises the time the live fish will spend out of the water, e.g 20secs while posing for a photo. This time lost can have detrimental effects on the trouts well being. So please dont take photos of live trout, concentrate on getting them back safe and sound asap.

However one member has kept one for the BBQ!, so heres a quick photo.

Caught at 8:45am, By one of our Annual Members, Mr Steve Moffat. This 2 1/2lb bow took a black fritz fished deep and stripped back. More importantly this trout took steve's fly on the "Hang". Hanging your flies at the end of the retrieve can be deadly, not doing the hang will result in a lot of fish lost.

Tightlines,

You can email me your photos, and a short review of your days angling. I will then place it on the blog for all anglers to see, both members and day ticket anglers are more than welcome to do so.
