Thursday 16th August

Currently a 13mph south easterly wind, so the majority of the lake is a flat clam (sheltered).
The majority of the fish caught have been quite close to the surface in overclouded conditions, with the water starting to cool as we become closer to September.

Top patterns so far:
Black Fritz
Cats Whisker
Black & Red Buzzers
"The good old imitative" Orange & pink blob!

Daily video Upload:

We are prepared and ready for our annual members evening meet up!
We look forward to seeing plenty of our members out on the water.
Remember the start time of the BBQ will be 5pm onwards. With fishing available til late.

UPDATE:
Top Rod currently the fly fishing ace, Young Oliver Avis, with 9 fish to his net.

METHOD OF THE DAY:
Slowly bringing back any form of small fry imitation or similar fly, just under the surface.

Tightlines,
Nathan
