Monday 20th August

Weather ideal for trout but waterproofs recommended for the angler!
A fine mist has fallen over Curley's, quite a few fish showing near the surface.
Virtually nil wind, a very slight easterly, as you can see on the video uploaded below.

An unusual sight here this morning, absolutely nil wind. If the weather gents and ladies got it right today, then we should be expecting it to brighten up later, but i will keep anglers informed.

Few anglers out on the water, fishing along the wall side embankment.

UPDATE
As promised the weather is starting to clear and brighten!
The rain has stopped for about a hour or so now [11:30am].

Daddy long legs!

 Can you tell the difference!?

A lot of daddies out and about this afternoon, the odd trout opportunist will be looking to the surface, waiting for a tasty daddy long legs morsel to land with a splash.

Tightlines,
