A stocking is taking place on tuesday (3rd april) a good number of fish will be between 4-6lbs a mixture of bows, blues and some special suprises for a few lucky anglers!
Between 100-200 fish will be stocked depending on how many is needed to top up the numbers.
A good amount of fish per acre, plenty for the fly fisher to cast too.
No doubt the curious stockies will be after anything big and fritzy.
As the fish acclimatise they will start to feed on naturals, as their natural feeding instincts kick in. Chronomidae and terrestrials becoming stuck in the surface will be will the target for many trout on tuesday.
We now have available a evening ticket, which amoungst the usual tickets, we now have a 2hour 1 fish ticket for £12.00, last tickets sold will be at 6:30pm and the 2hr ticket is available from 5.00pm.
