Changeable Conditions

Today has been a mixture of conditons, this morning it started to warm up with the sun climbing higher in the sky, Fish were rising everywhere. Now its overcast and the temperature has dropped dramatically from earlier, along with a biting breeze, and this has pushed the fish deeper.

The wind has also changed direction, westerly. Some nice fish coming out earlier to "The Fly of the Month", White Zonker and Cats.

Intermediate lines and a team of Nymphs fished with a Zonker or cats on the point. Fish will still be feeding but alot deeper than they have been over the last few days.
Another excellent fish catching method at Curleys, team up some buzzers on a floating line and very long leader to reach the fish feeding zone.

Chop & change and vary the depth!
Find the right depth and the trout will take opportunity of a correctly presented buzzer sinking past their noses.

Tightlines,
Nathan
