14th update

Good day for some anglers today.
John Whittaker had 6 fish, Jim McGinley had 6 fish, New member John Buckley had 4 fish, John Prest had a good looking 5lbs fish to the net.

Today's fly was definately a red buzzer,  probably responsible for the vast majority of fish.

It would seem quite a few fish were lost - which is quite common with buzzer fishing. Don't always expect an arm wrenching affair. A rainbow can sip in a buzzer and turn towards you with absolutely no "tug" at all and unless you tighten into the fish immediately, will spit it out and your opportunity is lost.
Look at the end of your fly line for any sign of movement or the little loop of line at the rod tip. You need to prepare your line and leader loop connector well in order to see these "takes".
I use Silicone mucilin for this - there is no better product for this, imho, of course.
