Monday..

Much warmer than it has been lately, with the air temp feeling much warmer. Although thermals still a recommendation currently.
Some Beautiful fish coming out currently, with Jim McGinley having a good hour with 2 bows both around 21/2lb taken to a black fritz, fished no deeper than 3ft. Floating line stripped back.

Asolutely no wind present, with plenty of midges hatching the trout have come to surface, showing across the lake. Some very nice trout amoungst the usual sizes, head and tail rising out towards the centre of the lake. Showing their large spade like tails.

Fry bashing is a regular accurance this time of year, with the slightly cooler water the trout have alot more energy, and are willing to chase all manner of large fritz like patterns. White, black and green fritzs doing well.

Below is a short video of one capture being returned today...
Tightlines!
