Wednesday 8th August

Weather: 10mph Westerly breeze (towards cafe embankment). Warm & mild.

The previous nights damp conditions and this mornings humid and warm conditions are ideal, Plenty of fly life about early morning, the odd sedge, plenty of non-biting midges and even the odd daddy!
Few fish caught already to various patterns just sub-surface. Alot of trout hanging no more than 4ft down, waiting for that gentle presented daddy!

Recently you cant go wrong with a well presented dry, especially during early evening.

One Angler out on his float tube at Curley's today.
If you wish to bring your own or possibly hire a float tube (training or previous use of a float tube needed to hire) then please ring the Fishery Office as we have limited spaces available.
