Saturday 21/1/12

Just a quick post, if your thinking about popping down to the water today.
The wind is in excess of 40mph and to be quite honest, curleys currently looks like the sea.
Strong westerly wind, however it is supposed to be bright and drier later on, so hopefully the wind will die down a little.

Still its possible to get tucked into a corner out of the wind, as
Mr Pat, Jeff and Ted Brown are currently fishing in the top right hand corner if viewed from the current cafe.

I will do my best to keep Anglers upto date on the weather here at curleys but strong winds to this extent wernt forcast.

Im sure those anglers that brave the wind will be rewarded as always.

UPDATE/EDIT: 12:15pm Wind is still unfortuneatly quite strong!

Mr Pat Brown had 1 fish dispite the conditions. (4hr sporting)
Mr Ted Brown also had the one trout.

PS. Please De-barb your chosen fly or use barbless hooks, as curleys is a catch and release water, its easier to remove the hook for one and it allows for a quicker release.

Please also allow the fish caught to be revived before released.

Cheers, Nathan Jones
