FIshing report from a Fly Fisher

This has been sent in by Keith Taylor who was fishing at Curley's on Sunday.
Wanted to post this email unedited,  just in case there are any cynics out there who think we are making all this stuff up!!!
BTW it was good soup!!!

hi this is Keith Taylor i spoke to you yesterday while fishing ......(you liked my soup)
you asked if i would send you the picture of the fish i had just released
well i caught a beauty right at the death (2.30pm) off the 3rd pontoon from the top wall, it gave a proper good fight, staying deep for most of the time and taking quite a while to come to the net,
i would estimate at least 5 and a half pounds (i'll take 5 though ) lovely colour and fully finned (as was the other) two great fish and even tho it was foggy i had a good session.
i know other anglers caught more but i got great pleasure from the two that i got into the net.
i did get 3 more on for a bit ,couple of splashes they got off and i lost them .
the pleasing thing also about the fish were that they came to lures i had made myself ,1st one gold head, red, yellow and green. 2nd one, heavier ,lime green, yellow and white. zonker style.
anyway you will be glad to know that both fish recovered well, and swam away at pace.
hopefully see you in july when i next get leave
thanks again
keith taylor
