Both of these cracking fish were caught by Mr Paul Harris, who after only a few months of fly fishing has already started to reap the rewards of this wonderful sport. What a beautiful full finned pair they are!
Mr Nick Halstead netted this stunning 5lb bow to a blob fished around 9ft beneath a indicator, this was one of many fish he landed during his visit to Curley's. Was excellent to see him on our banks, and we look forward to seeing him again shortly. On a personal note, Nick Halstead helped me gain my position in the EYFA (England Youth Fly fishing team) around 6-7 years ago, and it was a great pleasure to see him again after such along time!
Photo above was taken of Sam Firth, who has only recently started up fly fishing, and is well and truely hooked on the sport.
Fly fishing is a wonderful sport for kids and adults alike to get into, I'm sure we will be seeing more of Sam on the banks over the coming season! Well done!
