Chilly Thursday 17th

A chilly start and no doubt will be at the end of the day as well. Air temp currently at minus 1c.
Water temps at plus 3c. Surprising how relatively warm the water is for the conditions but does explain why the fish are as active as they are. Let's hope it continues through the forecasted spell of colder air this weekend.

Still hasn't put the fish off they are being tempted regularly to take the fly.

Nick Halstead, England International, is here to do a feature for Trout Fisherman and although only "warmimg up" before the photographer is here, he has had 5 fish to the net.

Others fishing have had 2's and 3's so a promising day ahead.
