A snow covered start...

On my Arrival at 8:15am this morning the entire fishery was covered in a inch of snow, this has now thawed out, but i did get a few nice photos to share with you all.

Few anglers out on the water including Member Jim McGinley who fished early morning for two hours and landed 5 fish to cats whiskers and yellow fritz. One of our newest members Mr Paul Harris secured himself two trout and one of a larger size, around 41/2lb taken again to a yellow fritz tin head.

Prospects are good for Tuesday with the snow full thawed, the small coarse lake is still partially frozen over but a good percentage of it is still fish-able. The large trout lake remaining totally ice free...
The trout still remaining with the top 10 feet, and floating lines the chosen weapon for the majority of anglers, although this will change as the cooler weather starts to set in towards February.

Quite a few photos being posted via facebook, from anglers, so here's the link to check those out.
Don't forget to add us as a friend for regular updates additional to the blog.

A view across the lake at nine this morning.

This has virtually all thawed out now, pegs have been cleared of snow first thing and because of this the frost will be minimal, the walkway/path to the first two pontoons have been completely cleared for ease of access...

Tightlines,
Nathan
