Friday 22nd June

Unfortuneatly friday was virtually un fishable, with gale force winds and consistant heavy down pours.
One angler braved the conditions but only lasted a hour, the conditions were that severe!

Please be wary if your planning a trip to Curleys over Saturday, the heav down pours resulting in a few flooded roads.

The weather is forecast to calm down alot over the weekend, a warm sunny day on sunday apparently.

When the weathers been more favourable over the last week, weve seen some mayflies flying about and witnessed a few laying their eggs on the surface only to get gobbled down by a hungry trout.
(see the photo below).
Photo taken on thursday evening when the weather died down, hatches galore on thursday!!

Tightlines,
Nathan
