The pike fly fishing is now open and a lot of pike in the 4-7lb range can be seen hanging around the shoals of fry.
PLEASE LOOK AFTER THE PIKE AND RETURN ALL PIKE CAUGHT.

The week end fished well. Not as good as previous weeks but this is due to the weather changing again and most people insisting on fishing dries. You really need to search the depths to find the main body of fish. Best catch reported was Andy Dwyer with 17 fish caught on a fry imitation. Biggest fish went to J. McGinley with a 6lb+ rainbow.
