Monday 25th June

Much better conditions at Curleys today, the wind has calmed down, still remaining westerly around 5mph.
Plenty of fish now showing on the surface, mostly nearer to the dam wall, as the strong winds on previous days have churned the water up and taken the warmer water towards the dam.

Midge hatching quite regularly, and the occasional pond olive and mayfly making an appearence.
Lots of trout showing now all across the lake just sub-surface.

Floating line with a team of suspender buzzers or klinkhammers, and you cant go wrong!
