Merry Christmas

Curley's fishery would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Hopefully it won't be long before the weather allows you all to come along to fish again, in the meantime - have a gud'un!!!

Winter is here

Still some fishing to be had at Curley's in spite of the winter chill.
As you can see from the photo, a little distorted from the angle but  at least half of the water is fishable if you are brave enough and have the right clothing!

It could be worse we could be living in the North East or even God forbid Yorkshire!!!

Lures and sinking lines are an obvious choice in these conditions and slow your retrieve right down to a snails pace!

I was on the fishery today and it was very nice being sheltered from the cold Easterly wind.
