Quite a few fish caught over the last few days mostly on daddy's at the surface and blobs and buzzers suspended under indicators.
Bit of a difference today - a stronger Northerly wind with a drop in temperature have made the fish a little more difficult and a little deeper than of recent. A differnt approach is required without reliance on the tactics that have worked for you till now - think outside the box a little!
Still fish rising on occasions, buzzer feeding but certainly not a many as on previous days.
Persistance will overcome resistance!!!
Quite a few on the water today with some pupils form Smithills School learning the the basic skills of fly fishing -- good to see!
