Lots of trout about this morning all topping, now the rain has come in and the wind picked up that has sent them down a little deeper. They are still in the top 3 to 4ft however.
Our coarse fishing project is well underway with lots of perch and roach being caught. Some exciting moments as well to boot. I had a perch on that was grabbed by a jack. I ended up "fighting" both fish for about 3 mins then the pike let go and I was able to land the perch.
On another pontoon a bigger pike tried to get into a keep net and help itself!!!
All good fun!
Should be good for both disciplines tomorrow and hopefully later today if the weather improves as forecasted.
