3rd July

Great weather again, just like autumn!!

Plagued with a few showers and a westerly over the last few days has effected the catch rate a little. Most people catching 2's and 3's with the exception of today that is - and now we are back to our "normal" returns

Top rods today - Jim McGinley with 7 to a variety of olive coloured flies and also we have 3 float tubers on the lake today and the best of them is also on 7 fish mostly on a home made black Elk Hair Sedge pattern.

Update
It is now looking like brightening up quite a bit - even some sunshine!
Plenty of fish being caught!

The float tubers ended up with 18 fish between them but the bank fishers probably out fished them all in all!

FOUND
Has anyone lost the tip section of their rod? It is a very short section so would probably be for a multi sectioned rod something like an eight or nine piece.
I have it in the tackle shop held up for ransom!
