Monday 3rd June

Arguably the very best day for ages for fishing. The cold wind has gone, temperatures are up and with cloud cover - what more can you ask for?

Fish are rising freely and most of those caught have been to dry flies - sedge, buzzer and klinkhammers have all been catching fish and lots of them.

Every single person fishing has caught with Phil Green topping the list with 10 fish and still going.

With a bit of ripple on the water the fish are rising all over then it goes a little quieter when it blows out and goes calmer for 5 minutes then starts again!

Prospects are good all week!
