There is a nice breeze over the fishery at the minute coming from the East. The fish have awoken from their slumber and are very active on the cafe side of the water. They are rising and rolling all over the place. Fish being caught readily on floating lines and Jim McGinley was into them minurtes after arriving. He was having success on a small goldhead fritz egg fly, dark olive in colour. But having said that, they way they are feeding they appear to be taking anything in the upper layers and some appear to still be chasing fry.
