Friday 16th Aug

Is the weather changing from the height of summer more towards Autumn??
There are certainly more and more Crane Flies about or Daddy Long Legs as they are more commonly known. Also the fish are just beginning to lean towards fry feeding but only at first light and again at dusk. Both of these activities will increase in frequency provided we don't get another spell of very warm temperatures.

Curley's has always been good for fry feeders due to the numbers of roach and perch about and the fish instinctively know that these are a good form of protein to lessen the austerity of winter.

We have just received a delivery of some great epoxy fry patterns to go along with our more traditional selections
