Chilly Start....

An extreme drop in temperatures has pushed the fish to around 7-8ft down. Black & Green patterns still doing the killing, with 90% of fish coming out to these colours.
Intermediate or slow sinking line recommended today, one to get through the 12mph NW wind and two to get down to the fish that little bit quicker.

Fish still coming up occasionally to take dries, especially during mid-late evening. Daddies & large beetle patterns fished close to the bank securing a few trout.

The good old sun is starting to warm us all up now.... [11am]
Although cold, this time of year is by far the best time to catch a few trout!
Big gordy patterns, black fritz, black tadpole, orange snake...all doing well currently.

Today's Video upload, showing the rather frosty start that we had here this morning....

Please note: its recommended to mute this video as the wind is very loud.

Tightlines,
