The trout are feeding really well at the moment. Olive Damsels being the killing fly. Catches of upto 18 fish on a four hour ticket have been reported. You dont need to fish deep. About a foot down being about right but keep changing as the fish move up and down in the water column as the light changes.
Also keep a eye out for any fly hatches. Small black nats have been on the water in good numbers and those with a few in their fly box have been able to take advantage.

The weather report gives warmer weather over the next week or two so this will bring on the fly hatches. The water is still being stocked once a fortnight. 100 - 200 rainbows depending on the number of anglers that have fished.

Tight lines.
