The real fishing season is here at last!
Yesterday and today the catch returns went through the roof with one guy catching 46 fish in one session and others with 20 plus each!!!
Floating lines - and basically anything with orange or pink in it has done the business.
Please remember to return all fish carefully - never touch a fish with dry hands, and let it fully recover before releasing it. Barbless or de-barbed hooks only!

i was that guy,my name is Andy and thursday was the first time i have ever been to curleys.i was fishing for an hour and blanked so i moved round and started catching with a damsel tinhead just 2 to 3 foot deep..bingo 8 fish in an hour.i used to fish pennine ( i say used to ),i`ve never had so much enjoyment as i have at curleys,anyway when i asked one guy who just finished what he was using he said anything white,so i put on a white goldhead fritz on a long leader,threw it in and bam,fish after fish,totalling 46 for the day.i think i found my new fishery...fantastic.
