Fishery Improvements

Steve Kershaw the fishery owner has just agreed a major improvement plan for Curley's.

A new pathway will be laid along the roadside of the fishery giving better access to the pontoons. All the stepways down to the pontoons will also be re-done. This work will start at the end of February to coincide with the renovation of the boundry wall along Chorley Old Road.

The main access road to the fishery along Wallsuches will be completely relaid with tarmac.

This is a major investment for the fishery and one that will benefit all the fly fishers in addition to all those who use the cafe.

Any disruption to the fishing will be kept to an absolute minimum.
