more fish

The normal weekly stocking will take place today!
The new fish should stir up the residents a little, active fish are catchable fish!!!

As the weather continues to improve and the water gets a little warmer with bright sunshine the fish will go down a little deeper.
You may feel little half hearted plucks at your lure - if this happens shorten the tail feathers a little and try again.
Mornings are always generally better than the rest of the day - big buzzer hatches and lots of surface feeding all over the lake

If you don't get any action try lengthening your leader (between 12ft and 18ft) or try a good slow intermediate.

This is just about the best clear intermediate I have found - click here - the Greys Platinum clear intermediate with a 1" to 1.5" sink rate.

Please look after the fish well - let them fully recover before releasing them - the warmer the water the longer this will take!

Fishing madness!

With stocking levels at a high and the warmer water temps the catch rates are now going ballistic!

Double figures in a session are now commonplace and more than 20 fish is fairly regular.

Another stocking this week will bring to total this year to over 1200 on top of all the over- wintered fish.

Looking good for the Easter holidays!

The path along the roadway is now open giving easier and quicker access to the embankment.

Currently anything white just can't fail!!
